Check-in and access
Check-in is from 15:00 unless otherwise agreed. Before arrival we send a building access link and apartment door code in Airbnb chat. Use the private link at the main entrance to building 36; do not share it.
Take the stairs or lift to the 5th floor. Touch the middle of the code lock to activate the keypad, then enter the code sent in chat. The keys are on the kitchen counter inside the apartment.
The blue chip opens the downstairs main door and garage. The black square chip opens the doors on the 5th floor. The code and link sent privately remain valid for your stay. Doors lock automatically behind you but always open from inside. Push doors closed fully when entering or leaving.
Getting here
From Ensjø metro
Ensjø is developing and can be tricky to navigate. Ensjø metro station is about an eight-minute walk away. From Oslo Central Station, take an eastbound metro toward Bergkrystallen, Ellingsrudåsen, Mortensrud or Helsfyr that stops at Ensjø. Check the current route before travel.
Exit the train on the right and walk backward toward the end of the carriages. Take the stairs to the bridge over the tracks. You will see an open square and duck pond. With the station behind you, walk straight, cross at the traffic lights and pass Rema 1000 on the left and Kiwi on the right. Follow Gladengveien for a few minutes. At the Audi sign on the right, turn left into the courtyard. Turn right and continue to entrance 36 at the far end on the right. Follow the annotated map below.
From Gladengveien bus stop
Gladengveien is the nearest bus stop; the Flybussen FB5 airport bus also stops here according to the original guide. Cross at the pedestrian crossing beneath the bridge. Continue beside the small river toward the large pipe/chimney. Turn left before the chimney, go down the stairs into the courtyard, turn right and continue to entrance 36 at the far end on the right. Follow the annotated map below.

Wi-Fi network: iNett. The password is provided in your private guest instructions, not on this public page.
Linen and towels
Clean sheets, bedding, towels and hand towels are in the drawers in the room. If anything is missing, let us know in Airbnb chat; we live next door.
Washing machine
If you use the washing machine for clothes, set it to a maximum of 700 as indicated on the machine.
Parking and garage
Street parking is often available on St. Jørgens vei; use the EasyPark app. Gladengveien 15 also has street parking. Check signs and current restrictions on site.

Nearby shops, restaurants and tips
Groceries
Groceries: Rema 1000 Hovin, Rema 1000 Ensjø, Kiwi Hovin and Joker Hasle. The original guide says Rema 1000 Ensjø and Joker Hasle also open on Sundays until 21:00; verify current hours before visiting.
Food and drink
Restaurants and bars within roughly 5–6 minutes on foot in the original guide: Safe as Milk (restaurant/pub), Hy’s (sushi), LUN (bar), Ekte thaimat Hovin, and Boulangerie (pizzeria and bakery). Check current availability.
Hasle torg
Hasle torg is a small nearby shopping centre with a large grocery store, pharmacy and Vinmonopolet. The original guide lists Vinmonopolet hours as weekdays until 18:00, Saturday until 16:00, and closed Sunday; these may change. See the host’s profile for other local Oslo favourites.
Check-out
Check-out is at 13:00 unless otherwise agreed. The cleaning fee is 0 kr, and we appreciate it if you leave the apartment in approximately the condition you found it. Sometimes another guest arrives just one hour after check-out.
Take or throw away food and drink from the fridge. Unopened bottles or containers and shelf-stable items that others can use may be left; use common sense. You may leave the windows slightly open for ventilation.
If you have time, remove bedding and sheets and put them in the steel basket in the hallway. Put used cloths and towels there too. Cleaning equipment is in the drawers beneath the sink; a vacuum cleaner is in the shared hallway.
Empty the rubbish bag beneath the sink and put in a new one; extra bags are at the bottom of the bin. Courtyard rubbish bins: turn left when you exit the main door, walk straight for about two minutes, then look on the right.
Leave the keys on the kitchen counter. The inner door may stay open, but close the door to the shared hallway properly. Contact us afterward in Airbnb chat if you forgot something.
Safety and contact information
Safety
The fire extinguisher is in the shared hallway. In case of fire, use it. Contact us promptly if the water guard or stove guard trips and you do not understand why or what to do. Please report any damage as soon as possible.
